Music Production with Christi O’ Donnell

2016 Dates:  Saturdays 8 – 9 PM, beginning January 9th

1st TRIMESTER (January 9th-):   Song writing and working with audio
2nd TRIMESTER (May 7th-):  Microphones and signal flow
3rd TRIMESTER (September 3rd-):  MIDI
1st TRIMESTER 2017 (January 7th-):  DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) and industry standard software

**it’s OK to enter the class mid-trimester; please inquire below with instructor about prorated tuition and complete the registration form, selecting the pay by check option**

This ongoing class covers the fundamentals of signal flow, audio recording, mixing, and using MIDI to create music. Music production runs quarterly in a group setting and each trimester will cover a different topic.

By the end of each trimester, students will have more of an understanding of how to bring their musical ideas into reality and will be able to know the difference between audio and MIDI and describe how different gear communicates. While the class is a group setting, each student will receive assignments specific to their learning style and needs/wants.
